The idea for the show has been imported from the US, where it was called Hands On A Hardboy. The spectacle will also be broadcast live on the Channel 5 website. In the show Touch A Truck, which will be shown daily on Channel 5, the last person left clutching the £50,000 four-wheel drive vehicle will drive off with it. A bizarre game show, in which contestants have to touch a truck for five days non-stop without falling asleep, is to hit TV screens.
